Job Description:

A top five Alternative Asset Management firm in Midtown, Manhattan is looking for an accounting/finance analyst to start immediately. The ideal candidate will have two to five years of experience in real estate accounting and investor reporting. This is an amazing opportunity to make a transition into financial services, or further your career.
Responsibilities of the Real Estate Accounting/Finance – Analyst will include:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Update internal real estate database on a continual basis with deal and fund information, including performance metrics, deal attributes, purchase/sale information, etc.
  • Monitor the internal database for completeness, including corresponding with other stakeholders responsible for inputting data
  • Troubleshoot with IT if technical issues are identified
  • Monitor 3rd party asset management platform, vetting data against financial reports to ensure its accuracy
  • Track and confirm property information flows into the asset management application on a monthly basis, troubleshooting as needed
  • Preparation of recurring investor/consultant requests and questionnaires consisting of investment and fund level performance data
  • Provide financial data and track record information for marketing materials
  • Assist with prospective investment due diligence requests
  • Assist with the preparation of quarterly internal reference files which include deal and fund level information used to support marketing/client service efforts

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2-4 yrs of relevant experience in Financial Planning & Analysis,
  • Strong project management skills, results-driven, adaptable with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Have a strong knowledge of FP&A and reporting skills.
  • Strong sense of integrity and ethics.
  • A Challenge seeker that is willing to tackle the task at hand.
  • Excellent written and verbal and communication skills.
  • BS in Accounting, Statistics, Finance, or Economics required.

Compensation:

  • $115,000 - $125,000
