The goal is to create a supportive and enjoyable environment that fosters literacy and a love of reading. Reading Buddies can be found in schools, libraries, and community programs, and they often help build confidence in young or struggling readers.

What skills and qualifications are needed to be a reading buddy?

To thrive as a Reading Buddy, you need strong literacy skills, a basic understanding of reading development, and often a high school diploma or equivalent.
