Greenwich United Way's Reading Champions is focused on building the students’ reading engagement and comprehension skills. Your volunteer commitment is 1 hour weekly Tuesdays 6-7 pm. You'll lead a fun & interactive 'Read Aloud for a small group of emerging readers in K to 4th grade.

Join our team of 120+ trained volunteers tutor 400 children in all 11 Greenwich Public Elementary Schools and 5 After-School Programs. Volunteers receive all training and materials to support their students weekly from late fall/winter through May. They also receive full on-site orientation and continued guidance during their service.
