Responsibilities

Speak with prospective and existing clients to understand their insurance needs

Explain coverage options in a clear, honest, and approachable way

Prepare quotes, review policies, and help customers make informed decisions

Support clients through policy updates, renewals, and changes in coverage

Identify opportunities to round out accounts with additional protection where appropriate

Maintain accurate records of calls, applications, and policy details

Work closely with the team to provide a smooth and dependable customer experience

Follow agency processes and insurance guidelines while keeping the customer experience personal


Requirements

Active New York Property & Casualty or Personal Lines insurance license within the first 30 days of employment required

Prior experience in insurance sales or a similar client-facing sales role preferred but will teach

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Ability to build trust quickly and guide customers through coverage options

Comfort working from the Massapequa, New York office

Strong follow-through and attention to detail when managing policy information

Proficiency with basic computer systems and CRM tools

Preferred: experience handling quotes, renewals, and cross-selling opportunities
