Job description

Associate Search Strategist

The Media Kitchen is seeking an Associate Search Strategist to become a valued member of this forward-thinking, creativity-oriented agency. The Associate Search Strategist is an entry-level position in search engine marketing, the largest advertising channel in the digital media field. Associate Search Strategists will be expected to analyze data quickly in order to make impactful changes in real-time. The right candidate should be a self-starter and a quick learner, able to work collaboratively, think strategically and manage independent time effectively.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Execute campaigns on multiple channels, most notably Google, Bing/Yahoo, and Facebook
  • Manage tactics including keyword builds, trafficking, budget monitoring and ad copy writing
  • Report and analyze performance by keyword, ad copy, landing page, and vendor
  • Work with Search Strategists to make real-time changes to optimize performance
  • Support Seniors and Directors in planning future campaigns
  • Collaborate with vendors in assessing new technologies and tactics and managing billing
  • Stay on top of industry trends to understand potential effects to our business

Qualifications

  • College graduate (marketing, economics, and/or math-oriented majors preferred)
  • Some previous work experience preferred
  • Interest in search and digital media
  • Strong analytical mindset
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in teams
  • Experience in Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Experience working in team settings
