Dietary Assistant $19.06/hr

Summary:

The primary role of the Dietary Assistant is to clean food preparation areas and dishes and assist with the preparation of food trays and nourishments for residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Helps prepares hot and cold foods and beverages. Maintains and follows all meal schedules.

  • Prepares trays with proper and accurate food items, as well as transports meals Prepares snacks and nourishments for residents

  • Cleans food preparation areas as well as dishes, utensils, glasses, cups etc.

Qualifications: 

  • Must be able to follow time schedules for meal preparation and serving.

  • Must be able to speak, read and write the English language clearly and understandably.

  • Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.

  • Some previous experience preferred in Healthcare industry
