Location: Denver, CO- REMOTE
GIS (React Developer) Job Description:

Remote/Onsite:

    • Can start 100% remote but would need to move to CO with a set timeline

Top Skills:
  • 3+ years of front end development experience
  • React
  • Experience building custom apps, tools, components, etc. compared to white box solutions
  • Experience working in a large, fast paced environment
  • Git
  • Experience or strong understanding of GIS systems nice to have
  • Culture fit is huge along with strong communication skills

Team/ Environment:
  • Smaller team of 4 developers

Interview Process:
  • 30 minute phone interview with the hiring manager
  • 1 hour panel style interview with the team

Key responsibilities
  • Develop web applications to visualize and provide insights into large volumes of location-enabled event data.
  • Offer creative solutions when faced with data volume, data quality, and data usability challenges
  • Participate in software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to planning long-term support. Be willing to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders, development operations staff, data scientists, and software architects.
