OVERVIEW:
Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversees daily, weekly, and monthly sales audit operations across stores and omni channel fulfillment, ensuring timely and accurate processing. Works cross-functionally with Store Operations, Loss Prevention, Omnichannel Fulfillment, Technology, and Distribution Centers to identify and resolve sales balancing issues related to POS, cash office, and omni channel transactions. Reviews audit trail activity and exception reporting to ensure adherence to established controls and procedures.
  • Prepares and/or reviews monthly journal entries and reports supporting Finance, Omni Channel, and Loss Prevention. Supports month end close activities related to sales audit and omni channel transaction processing.
  • Works with direct reports to identify and resolve omni channel inventory issues related to fulfillment methods such as Ship From Store, Buy Online Pickup In-Store, and other digital sales channels. Monitors system synchronization and transaction accuracy impacting available to promise inventory at Fulfillment Centers.
  • Oversees Finance responsibilities for programs including all B2B Gift Cards and Warranty programs, including wire activity and monthly reconciliations. Coordinates quarterly SOX testing and documentation. Supports internal and external audit requests related to sales audit and omni channel processes.
  • Oversees hiring, training, and ongoing development of Sales Audit and eCommerce Inventory Control team members. Provides day to day coaching and performance oversight to ensure consistent execution and adherence to controls. Ensures training materials and procedures remain current as systems and processes evolve.
  • Supports cross functional initiatives and system enhancements affecting POS, cash office, omni channel sales, and inventory movement transactions. Partners with Technology and business teams to define Finance requirements, support testing, and implement new systems or enhancements. Plays a key role in projects related to POS modernization and omni channel process changes, ensuring appropriate balancing, controls, and reporting are in place.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance
  • 7-10 years expereince in Finance Operations, Experience as a Front End manager and /or in a Sales Audit function
  • Inventory and Merchandise Management System (i.e. Boreas)
  • Experience using business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Qlik)
  • Integrity and trust
  • Ability to build and manage a strong, productive team
  • Familiar with SOX controls and guidelines
  • Accounting and financial knowledge
  • Ability to multi-task, make decisions and react quickly
