Position Summary:

Work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing setting that may include dust and debris and can be loud at times. Perform various tasks involved in bagging/ boxing operation including but not limited to setting up and operating bagging machines, handling parts and materials, packing parts and other related activities using hand tools, various type of packing materials. must follow all applicable safety procedures to avoid injuries including requests for help from co-workers. Proper handling of finished parts and products to avoid injuries or damage, follow all operational instructions when operating or using tools and equipment. Provide quality checks as determined. 

Job may require overtime and a flexible schedule, reporting early and working late, including weekends. 

We are seeking a Stacking Operator on 1st and 3rd Shift for our Garden Grove location! 

Schedule: 

  • 1st Shift 6:00am - 2:30pm  Monday - Friday
  • 3rd Shift 10:00pm - 6:30am Sunday - Thursday

Hourly Pay Rate: $22.00 + $1.50 Shift Differential for 3rd Shift
 

Responsibilities:

  • Performs general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials. 
  • Responsibly for quality inspection
  • Will operate power forklift
  • Responsibility for correctly warehousing/ storing finished goods 
  • Assists with any other manual labor tasks as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills with strong aptitude for operating machinery.
  • Ability to follow instructions and learn the production process.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks.

 Education and Experience:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Hi-Lo Certification preferred, will be trained, and certified on the hi-lo.
  • (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Must be able to clear drug screen and background check.
  • Must have reliable transportation.


Physical Demands and Work Environment:

The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation as you will frequently and repetitively be required to bend, twist, kneel, crouch, and reach to perform work, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk and hear. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk and/or sit and reach with hands and arms. May occasionally climb stairs, drive vehicles, and operate equipment. Lift or carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Must wear required hearing and/or eye protection.
