OUR IDEAL TIER 3 FACILITY MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in building maintenance, including advanced skills in at least two trades (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
  • Ability to work throughout Geauga County: Chardon, Newbury, Middlefield, and Chagrin Falls

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Public or Multi-Family Housing
  • Familiarity with occupied units, tenant interaction, and turnaround expectations
  • Knowledge of HUD / REAC Inspection Standards
  • Ability to help ensure units and properties stay inspection-ready and compliant

YOUR NEW ROLE AS OUR TIER 3 FACILITY MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
You work a dependable 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday schedule, with on-call responsibilities and overtime available when needed.
You handle advanced repairs across multiple building systems, using your technical knowledge to identify root causes and complete work that meets code and housing authority standards. You coordinate and complete work orders with a focus on safety, efficiency, and consistent quality. You conduct inspections and implement preventive maintenance plans that help avoid costly emergencies and support successful REAC and NSPIRE inspections. As you travel between our five Geauga County properties in Chardon, Newbury, Middlefield, and Chagrin Falls, your work ensures facilities remain safe, functional, and ready to serve the residents who depend on them.
