Pneu Dart, Inc. is the leading global provider of remote drug delivery systems. We utilize innovative in-house design systems to produce products for the animal livestock and wildlife industries. We are looking for a team member with an understanding of assembly processes and the desire to work hands-on. The ideal candidate will have a drive to learn Pneu-Dart products and possess critical thinking skills with acute attention to detail.
Position Summary
The primary role of a Projector Technician is to assemble and repair company created projectors (dart guns) according to Standard Work Practices, while working within a team-based environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Building various types of projectors for the animal and livestock industry
  • Diagnosing, repairing, modifying all projector types based on customer need
  • Safely test-firing production units
  • Operating a CNC lathe, manual mill and other machines to complete job tasks as needed
  • Maintaining accurate records of work performed on customer equipment
  • Repairing damaged components and correcting malfunctions
  • Bluing barrels and various components
  • Following compliance regulations, including but not limited to ATF, Department of State, and the Bureau of Industry and Security.
  • Participate and contribute to continuous improvement projects, across various departments

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • General machining skills
  • Possesses physical dexterity necessary to assemble small parts
  • Demonstrates analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with acute attention to detail, necessary to troubleshoot production and assembly issues
  • Ability to identify problems or malfunctions with equipment
