Job Summary

PURPOSE STATEMENT
The job of Substitute Administrator (TK-8) is done for the purpose/s of promoting and maintaining high student achievement by providing temporary curricular and instructional leadership; maintaining overall school site operations during the absence of a regular school administrator; receiving, distributing, and communicating information to enforce school, District, and State policies; and communicating information to staff, students, parents, and community members.
This job is distinguished from similar jobs by the following characteristics: Incumbents must be able to adapt quickly to varied school environments, provide immediate leadership, present information, and manage a flexible work schedule across elementary and/or middle school sites.
SUPERVISION
This job reports to the Deputy Superintendent of Educational Services or Designee.
