Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist and Nurses to join our Respiratory Therapy Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing respiratory care to residents in a long term care setting, with a focus on geriatrics. This position will be at Pine Knoll Rehabilitation Centre in Winchester, Indiana.
Previous ventilator and Tracheostomy experience is a plus, but NOT required. We are happy to train you on site!
Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer and documentation of respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as oxygen saturation levels and heart rate
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and disease management
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive resident care
- Respond to emergency situations and provide basic life support as needed.
Requirements:
- Certified RRT, CRT, RCP, RN or LPN
- Current Indiana Respiratory Therapist license preferred
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Basic life support certification required
