  • Provide a high level of value and customer service to client practices and their patients by efficiently identifying and resolving insurance, billing, and complex escalated issues.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on processes and workflows related to the RCM Advisor role. Maintain deep knowledge of current healthcare industry trends, specialty-related changes, and ModMed software enhancements/releases.
  • Participate in sales calls as needed to demonstrate depth of domain expertise to prospective clients.
  • Perform additional projects and job duties as assigned.

Skills & Requirements

  • Proven experience in a client or practice-facing role managing the RCM performance for medical practices is preferred/required based on the book of business.
  • Proven experience analyzing AR, denial trends, and payer issues, as well as developing and presenting RCM KPIs and month-end reports (preferably to executive leaders).
  • Extensive knowledge of medical billing/coding, front-office, physician practice management, and healthcare business processes.
  • Strong understanding of various insurance carriers, including Medicare, private HMOs, and PPOs.
  • Ability to use formulas to analyze data, create tables and pivot tables, formatting, and conditional formatting (required).
  • Ability to manage and integrate information located in multiple software systems.
