Within CHOC Specialists, the Pediatric Subspecialty Faculty (PSF) a private pediatric subspecialty group serves as the employer for this position. About the Opportunity: Pediatric Hepatology & Pancreatic Disease

CHOC Children s Hospital is seeking a full-time Pediatric Gastroenterologist with expertise or a strong clinical interest in pediatric liver and pancreatic disorders to join its growing GI division. This role offers the opportunity to care for medically complex children within a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary model.

Position Highlights Include:

  • Care for children with acute and chronic liver disease, including chronic hepatitis and metabolic-associated steatotic liver disease (MASH)
  • Active participation in the multidisciplinary management of (both pre and post) liver transplant patients and children with chronic pancreatic disorders
  • Engagement in multidisciplinary hepatology and pancreatology clinics focused on complex care
  • Leadership and program directorship opportunities for qualified candidates
  • Participation in academic teaching, research, and quality improvement initiatives, including involvement with the UCI-affiliated pediatric residency program

Qualifications

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Gastroenterology
  • Eligible for California medical licensure

  • Completion of a fourth-year fellowship in pediatric hepatology or liver transplant, or
  • Significant clinical experience and a strong interest in pediatric liver and pancreatic disease
