Senior Engineer

Rio Controls & Hydraulics Inc. (RCH) is a rapidly growing subsidiary of Rio Marine. RCH is responsible for the design, programming, manufacturing, testing, and support for both marine and industrial control systems. As a young company, RCH offers an opportunity to get involved in the beginning stages of an engineering, manufacturing and service organization and to have a great impact on the building of the company. We are currently seeking an engineer with the ability to learn and adapt to a wide variety of job responsibilities and with the drive to excel in a fast paced work environment.

Duties:

• Create detailed electrical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD or other relevant software.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and codes in all drafted plans. (ABS, Coast Guard)

• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders.

• Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports.

• PTS reviews engineering designs, plans, and documents to identify potential issues, ensure

quality standards

• Customer quote review technical responses

• Some project site travel required

• Product compliance

• Regulatory submittals (ABS, US Coast Guard)

• Create Factory Acceptance Test

• Create Testing Procedures

• TIA Portal Programing

• Low Voltage Controls

• Red Lion HMI Programing

• Microsoft Office 365 Suite

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting tools.

- Strong understanding of electrical design principles.

- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards.

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

- Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
