Registered Behavior Technician Paraprofessional (Rbt)

Position: Registered Behavior Technician Paraprofessional (RBT) Starting Date: Anticipated August 10, 2026 and August 17, 2026 Location: Crestwood and Midlothian Qualifications: Hold a valid, registered Illinois Professional Educators License with Paraprofessional endorsement; RBT Certificate through Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB); Experience working with students with significant Social/Emotional and Behavioral Disorders preferred, but not required Job Summary: The RBT assists in the delivery of academic, behavioral, adaptive and life skills instruction. The RBT will implement behavior intervention plans and maintain student behavior by utilizing behavior management strategies, including but not limited to positive behavior supports, de-escalation, and physical restraint, if a student is an imminent danger to themselves or others.
