Position Title: Equipment Engineering and Provisioning Specialist
Reports to: Operations Manager
Location: Baltimore, MD
Employment Status: Full-Time
Work Schedule: Full-Time, M-F, core work hours are from 9:30am to 2:30pm
FLSA Status: Exempt
Position Summary: Aldevra is currently seeking a qualified Equipment Engineering and Provisioning Specialist to support the Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC), Ice Breaker, Buoy, and Construction Tender Product Line (IBCTPL) in Baltimore, MD. The ideal candidate will already align with our core values of SOAR (Strong Integrity and Ethics, Outstanding Teamwork, Accountability-Driven and Relentless Pursuit of Quality).
This position is contingent upon contract award.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Assist the IBCTPL ENG-SES2 Section with provisioning and supply support, in accordance with the provisioning process and desk guides, to include Provisioning Process Guide, CGTO PG-85-00-680 (Series) and SFLC Sustainment Provisioning Process Guide, CGTO PG-85-00-1030 (Series).
  • Validate APL data on MPCs and TCTOs/ECs.
  • Review supply data within FLS, WEBFLIS CG-PART, SMDP-PSCP (Provisioning & Supply Change Portal) and NESSS to validate parts data.
  • Build allowance documents as necessary to support parts onboard cutters.
  • Gather data, including conducting Market Research, to thoroughly develop and route Item Entry Proposals (IEPs).
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • 2 years of experience
  • Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Logistics, or a related technical field.
  • Must be well versed in Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) concepts, Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Level of Maintenance Analysis (LOMA) and Readiness Based Sparing (RBS) models and understand the four cornerstones of the Coast Guard business model (i.e. Configuration Management, Total Asset Visibility, Bi-Level Maintenance, Product Line Management).
  • Must be familiar with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and assist with small purchases and their applicability to ship repair contracts and purchases.
  • Valid Real-ID state-issued driver's license
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and telephone manner
