Job description

Red Bank Catholic High School (RBC) is a private, Catholic college preparatory high school (9-12), located in Red Bank New Jersey.? The school has over a 100 year history of educating men and women in Monmouth, Ocean and Middlesex Counties.? Currently the school has over 700 students enrolled.

 

Reporting to the Vice President of Operations and Finance, the Advancement Coordinator is a full time position responsible for a wide range of administrative operations including managing the Advancement Office constituent relationship management database (Blackbaud's Raiser's Edge ), donation processing and donor acknowledgments, as well as, supporting the robust RBC scholarship program and communications plan. Additionally, this position will work closely with the RBC leadership team and the RBC Foundation on a major campaign.

 


Key responsibilities will include:

 

- Manage and optimize data in Raiser's Edge (CRM)  including; prospect research notes, biographical updates, data cleanup, actions, donor inquiries, donation records, and reporting. 

 

- Conduct the administrative functions of donation processing and cultivation including deposits, donation records, tax documents, acknowledgment letters, and mailings.

 

- Responsible for the RBC Foundation campaign administrative tasks including, but not limited to, prospect tracking and research, creating campaign reports as directed, mailings, donation processing,  meeting and event support.

 

- Manage all administrative functions of the RBC Scholarship Program that include the application process, scholarship notifications and donor updates.

 

- Support the Annual Fund campaign reaching alumni, parents, students and friends of the institution.  Activities will include supporting communication strategies (email, hard mail and social media) and aiding in the cultivation of donors as directed.

 

- Collaborate with the Advancement Team on the Communications plan and support it as directed.

 

- Support the Advancement Team in department events as directed. 

 

- Other duties as assigned by the VP of Finance and Operations.

   

Qualifications:

 
  • Administrative experience with a solid understanding of fundraising best practices
  • Blackbaud Raiser's Edge experience  (preferred)
  • Experience working with Excel and other Microsoft programs while being motivated to expand current knowledge base
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to pay close attention to detail in a fast paced deadline driven environment
  • Quality written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree required
