The Role You'll Play to Create Success
We are happy to announce a full-time Scrum Master (onsite/ hybrid) position in Clearwater, FL!
The purpose of every employee at FrankCrum is to help businesses grow and prosper by providing products and services that foster stability and security. This job contributes to the mission of FrankCrum by facilitating the adoption of Agile practices within our software development process and ensure the smooth implementation of Scrum, removing impediments, coaching team members, and leading daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
1. Serves as Scrum Master for one or more Agile software development teams, facilitating Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
2. Coaches development teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement to increase team maturity and effectiveness.
3. Partners with Product Owners to maintain a healthy product backlog by supporting backlog refinement, user story development, prioritization, and sprint readiness.
4. Identifies, escalates, and removes impediments that impact team productivity, delivery timelines, or sprint commitments.
5. Promotes a collaborative, transparent, and psychologically safe team environment that encourages accountability, open communication, and continuous learning.
6. Monitors Agile delivery metrics such as sprint velocity, burndown, cycle time, and team capacity to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
7. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, leadership, and business stakeholders to improve alignment, manage dependencies, and communicate project status, risks, and delivery expectations.
8. Facilitates continuous improvement initiatives by leading effective retrospectives and driving actionable improvements across team processes and workflows.
9. Supports Agile planning activities including release planning, sprint forecasting, dependency management, and risk mitigation.
10. Encourages adoption of Agile best practices and recommends process enhancements that improve quality, predictability, and delivery performance.
11. Maintains Agile project artifacts, dashboards, and reporting within Azure DevOps, Jira, or other approved project management tools.
12. Performs other related duties as assigned.

The Attributes We Seek
1. Knowledge of Agile principles, Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and iterative software development methodologies.
2. Knowledge of Agile scaling frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, or Scrum@Scale is preferred.
3. Skilled in facilitating meetings, coaching teams, resolving conflict, and influencing without direct authority.
4. Skilled in organizational, analytical, and problem-solving with ability to manage multiple priorities.
5. Skilled in verbal and written communication with ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
6. Ability to build collaborative relationships across departments and foster a culture of accountability, trust, and continuous improvement.
7. Ability to analyze Agile metrics and use data to improve team performance and delivery outcomes.
8. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be required.
9. Certified SrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I), or equivalent Agile certification required.
10. Three (3) years of experience serving as a Scrum Master supporting Agile software development teams.
11. Experience with Agile project management tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms.
12. Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), DevOps practices, and software release management.
