Job description

Summary:
A Freight Forwarding company in Riviera Beach is looking to hire an Entry-Level Diesel Mechanic in Riviera Beach. This position will be trained on performing preventative maintenance and repairs on the company's fleet of vehicles and equipment which includes: Forklifts up to 52K lb capacity, jockey & road trucks, man-lifts, custom buggies, utility/golf carts, fuel trucks, pressure washers, pick-up trucks and service trucks.
Primary responsibilities:
* Preventative maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment
* Performing Tire service for OTR and smaller tires
* Performing major and minor repairs on engines and transmission
* Performing inspections, brake checks, light checks, and other maintenance on vehicles
* Performs diagnostics
Requirements:
* 2+ years of experience in automotive or diesel generator repairs
* Ability to perform diagnostics
* Experience using jacks, compressors, and hydraulic equipment
* High school diploma
* Valid DL
* Able to obtain a TWIC card
Preferred qualifications:
* Ability to perform major repairs on diesel engines
* Ability to use diagnostics software
* Experience performing preventative maintenance on forklifts, and similar equipment
* Commercial tire truck certification (TIA)
* Earth mover tire certification (TIA)
