Job description

Blackfinn Randhurst is seeking an outgoing and personable Restaurant Host/Hostess to be the welcoming face of our establishment. This role requires weekend availability and offers the chance to work within a small, close-knit team, primarily during peak hours. The successful candidate will report directly to the Floor Supervisor and play a crucial role in creating a positive initial impression and enhancing the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously
  • Manage reservations and waitlist efficiently
  • Answer phone calls and handle take-out orders accurately
  • Engage with guests to ensure a positive dining experience
  • Manage the guest queue during busy periods
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times
  • Maintain clear communication with team members and supervisors
