About RANDALL

RANDALL is a premier self-performing $100M+ subcontractor providing integrated Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Architectural Metals, and Offsite Construction/Manufacturing solutions across Florida and the Southeast. With 35+ years of operational excellence and a team of 500+ professionals, we combine the grit and dedication of our grassroots origins with the innovation of a modern industry leader. Our 100,000 sq. ft. fabrication facility in Apopka, FL serves as a strategic logistics hub, supporting major commercial, industrial, and aeronautical projects across the Southeast and beyond.

Randall Mechanical is currently seeking a top-tier Senior Revit Detailer with hands-on experience in modeling piping and ductwork systems for mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC trades. This role will support our VDC team in the creation of detailed fabrication, coordination, and installation drawings for large commercial projects. The position is based on-site at our headquarters in Apopka, FL.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with technical Revit knowledge and a passion for detail who wants to grow in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Essential Functions
  • Develop fabrication- and installation-ready MEP models using Revit.
  • Focus on modeling piping and ductwork systems across a variety of disciplines (mechanical, plumbing, HVAC).
  • Produce clear, accurate, detailed and constructible shop drawings from contract documents.
  • Collaborate with project managers and coordinators to ensure accuracy, constructability, and adherence to project standards.
  • Support coordination processes using Navisworks and Revizto (preferred but not required).
  • Participate in internal clash reviews and address coordination issues where needed.
  • Work within established project schedules and document control processes.
  • Assist in creating final as-built drawings when required.
  • Experience in producing spool drawings for a fabrication shop is a plus.

Desired Qualification Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Revit is required.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience working as a Revit MEP Detailer, with a focus on piping and ductwork.
  • Basic understanding of MEP construction documents.
  • Familiarity with multiple piping and ductwork systems (sanitary, domestic water, HVAC supply/return/exhaust, etc.).
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and translate them into buildable models.
  • Experience with Navisworks and Revizto is a plus.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (SMACNA, IPC, IMC) is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.

Physical Requirements

This is primarily an office position and, as such, you must be able to sit up to six or more hours in an eight-hour workday, lift light objects such as files and paperwork frequently during the day, and objects weighing up to 10 pounds occasionally during the day. You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, and lift as required by the job.
