Our 100,000 sq. ft. fabrication facility in Apopka, FL serves as a strategic logistics hub, supporting major commercial, industrial, and aeronautical projects across the Southeast and beyond.
Randall Fire Services department is currently seeking top-tier Fire Alarm, Security and Access Control Service Technicians / Inspectors to work on commercial projects in the Orlando, FL area and throughout Central Florida. We are excited about this important role and are determined to consider the best and brightest candidates who meet our requirements.
Position Summary
Alarm Service Technicians troubleshoot, repair, perform preventative maintenance (and occasionally install alarm systems). Alarm Inspectors are responsible for conducting routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on alarm product lines as well as similar competitive manufacturers' product lines.
Essential Functions
  • Work with low-voltage wiringand associated devices for the operation of alarm, security and access control equipment.
  • Follow and maintain a highlystructured inspection schedule.
  • Input, retrieve and archiveinspection documents via laptop computer.
  • Make minor repairs andprogramming changes to systems being inspected.
  • Provide technical training toless senior inspectors and trainees.
  • Complete assigned inspectionson time.
  • Perform other duties asassigned.

Desired Qualification Requirements
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) Strongly preferred
  • High School Diploma orequivalent required.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to pass drug screen andreference check.
  • Experience with hand tools andmulti-meter usage.
  • NICET II certificationpreferred, NICET I required.
  • 2+ years of documented serviceexperience in fire alarm service/inspection.
  • Demonstrates an aptitude fortroubleshooting systems and performing necessary repairs.
  • Ability to follow verbal andwritten instructions.
  • Ability to work flexible hoursincluding weekends to meet customer requirements.
  • Ability to adhere to,implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
  • Demonstrate a high level ofcustomer service.
  • Ability to work well withothers.
  • Self-starter that can work withlittle to no supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills, apositive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.

Physical Requirements
You must be able to lift a dead weight of at least 50 pounds and stand on your feet for several hours at a time. You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, and lift as required by the job, be able to respond quickly to sounds, move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces, see and respond to dangerous situations, safely climb ladders while carrying tools/items, work in extreme weather, and properly wear personal protective gear.
