Ranch resorts are popular for offering a blend of adventure, relaxation, and an authentic Western or countryside experience. Description
Resort General Manager
Lead a Destination. Build a Culture. Create Exceptional Experiences.
Verde Ranch RV Resort | Camp Verde, Arizona
Are you a hospitality leader who knows that great resorts are built by great people?
Do you thrive on developing leaders, creating an engaged team culture, delivering memorable guest experiences, and driving strong business results?
CRR Hospitality is looking for an experienced Resort General Manager to lead Verde Ranch RV Resort, an award-winning luxury outdoor hospitality destination in the heart of Central Arizona.
This is an opportunity for a visible, hands-on leader to take an already successful resort and continue elevating its people, operations, guest experience, and financial performance.
About Verde Ranch RV Resort
Set against the stunning landscape of Central Arizona, Verde Ranch offers guests an elevated outdoor hospitality experience that combines the comforts of a luxury resort with the freedom of the outdoors.
The resort features:
  • 389 premium RV sites
  • Luxury rental cabins
  • Unique Conestoga wagons
  • Resort-style pool and amenities
  • Pickleball courts
  • Family-friendly activities and events
  • A year-round destination experience

Verde Ranch has earned national recognition, including:
#1 Top RV Campground
#1 Top Large Campground
- Campspot
As General Manager, you'll lead a highly regarded destination with a strong foundation-and have the opportunity to shape what comes next.
Why CRR Hospitality?
At CRR Hospitality, we believe extraordinary guest experiences start with an extraordinary associate experience.
Our leaders don't simply manage resorts-they build teams, develop people, solve problems, create connections, and set the standard for how hospitality should feel.
We give our leaders the autonomy to lead, the support to grow, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
Our culture is grounded in six core values:
Cares | Passionate | Team Player | Excellence | Curious | Positive
We work hard, hold ourselves accountable, support one another, celebrate wins, and have fun along the way.
What We Offer
  • Competitive base salary + performance bonus
  • Complimentary full hook-up RV site
  • Company-paid medical, dental, and vision benefits
  • Company-paid short-term and long-term disability
  • 401(k) with company match up to 6%
  • Paid time off
  • Six paid holidays
  • Leadership development and career growth opportunities
  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial culture where your ideas and leadership matter

The Opportunity
The Resort General Manager is the senior leader and driving force behind the overall success of Verde Ranch RV Resort.
You will lead the resort's people, operations, guest experience, and financial performance while ensuring the property consistently reflects CRR Hospitality's standards and culture.
This role requires a leader who is comfortable moving between big-picture strategy and the realities of daily resort operations-someone who can review a P&L in the morning, coach a department leader midday, connect with guests in the afternoon, and jump in to solve a problem when the team needs you.
You won't lead from behind a desk.
You'll be visible throughout the resort, know your people, understand your business, and set the tone for the entire property.
What You'll Lead
People & Culture
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing leadership team and resort associates.
  • Create an environment where people feel valued, challenged, supported, and recognized.
  • Build a culture of accountability, ownership, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and develop future leaders through intentional coaching and development.
  • Foster strong relationships with associates, guests, owners, vendors, and community partners.
  • Lead by example and consistently model CRR Hospitality's core values.
Resort Operations
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the entire resort, including Guest Services, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Activities, Retail, Food & Beverage where applicable, and other operating departments.
  • Maintain high standards for cleanliness, curb appeal, safety, service, and overall property presentation.
  • Ensure the resort consistently delivers on CRR Hospitality and brand standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and the overall guest and associate experience.
  • Maintain a strong presence throughout the resort and remain connected to what is happening on the property.
Financial & Business Performance
  • Own the resort's financial performance and annual operating budget.
  • Analyze revenue, occupancy, labor, payroll, expenses, and other key performance indicators.
  • Develop and execute strategies that drive revenue, profitability, and long-term value.
  • Partner with leadership teams to identify opportunities, manage expenses, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Use data and business insight to make sound, timely decisions.
Guest Experience
  • Champion a culture where exceptional service is the standard-not the exception.
  • Build genuine relationships with guests and create an environment that keeps them coming back.
  • Personally engage with guests and remain attuned to their experience throughout the resort.
  • Address guest concerns with urgency, professionalism, and good judgment.
  • Use guest feedback to identify opportunities and continuously raise the bar.
Talent Acquisition & Development
  • Attract and hire talented people who align with CRR Hospitality's culture and values.
  • Build strong onboarding, training, and development practices within the resort.
  • Provide consistent coaching, feedback, recognition, and performance management.
  • Create clear opportunities for associates to grow their careers.
  • Build a strong leadership pipeline and succession plan for the resort.
Sales, Marketing & Community
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to maximize occupancy, revenue, and resort visibility.
  • Support resort programming, events, partnerships, and promotional initiatives.
  • Build relationships within the local community and represent Verde Ranch and CRR Hospitality professionally.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen the resort's reputation and position within the outdoor hospitality industry.
Safety, Compliance & Risk Management
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Ensure appropriate safety practices are consistently followed throughout the resort.
  • Proactively identify and address operational, safety, and compliance risks.
  • Create an environment where associates understand that safety and accountability are everyone's responsibility.

What We're Looking For
Experience & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of progressive hospitality leadership experience.
  • Previous General Manager experience in a resort, hotel, RV resort, campground, or similar hospitality environment strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams across multiple departments.
  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets, financial performance, labor, and operational expenses.
  • Strong understanding of guest experience, service standards, and hospitality operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound business decisions and translate strategy into action.

The Leader Who Will Thrive Here
The right person for Verde Ranch is more than an experienced operator.
You're a people leader, business leader, and hospitality leader.
You:
  • Care deeply about your people, guests, property, and community.
  • Bring passion and energy to what you do.
  • Are a true team player who understands that great results are achieved together.
  • Hold yourself and others to a standard of excellence.
  • Stay curious, ask questions, challenge the status quo, and look for better ways to operate.
  • Bring a positive attitude, even when the day doesn't go according to plan.
  • Lead with confidence, humility, integrity, and accountability.
  • Know how to develop people rather than simply manage them.
  • Build relationships naturally and understand that hospitality is ultimately about people.
  • Are comfortable making decisions, taking ownership, and being accountable for results.
  • Don't hesitate to roll up your sleeves and jump in when your team needs you.
  • Enjoy a fast-moving environment where every day brings something different.
  • Take pride in creating a resort where both guests and associates genuinely want to be.

This Is Your Opportunity to Make an Impact
Verde Ranch is already recognized as one of the country's leading outdoor hospitality destinations.
Now we're looking for the leader who can help take it even further.
This is an opportunity to lead a talented team, influence the culture of an award-winning resort, build meaningful relationships with guests and the community, and drive the business forward.
If you're ready to lead with purpose, develop exceptional people, and create experiences guests remember long after they leave, we'd love to meet you.
