Job description

The MLM Ramp Up Management Launch Lead is responsible for plant material readiness for product build out and launch including equipment readiness, internal and external sequencing and metering readiness, station validation, material part set up and material flow systems set up. The MLM Ramp Up Management Launch Lead is the operational link between the Manufacturing Industrialization Ramp Up team and the Plant PRS and Warehouse Specialists. This individual will partner with the Global Ramp Up team to ensure material logistics preparedness for model transitions and new product launches. The MLM Ramp Up Management Launch Lead participates in and promotes lean Stellantis Industrial System activities.
  • Process owner responsible for compliance validation of Material Build Out & Launch Standard Checklist
  • Lead for Advance Planning and Systems Timing Audits
  • Participate and support the individual Plant launch objectives and execution from a MLM perspective
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding Key Process Indicators (KPI) associated with manufacturing launches
  • Interacts with all levels of the organization including bargaining and non-bargaining, hourly and salary employees as well as executive leadership

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment focused in production control, supply chain or material handling
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex issues as well as manage through all aspects of the daily business including escalation and communication as required
  • Experience in setting strategic direction, leading and developing a department team
  • Ability to demonstrate lean manufacturing knowledge and application
  • Ability to implement, sustain and improve new or existing material flow processes and inventory control strategies
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in related field
  • Stellantis Industrial System Logistics Pillar knowledge
  • Experience Working in a Unionized Environment
  • Ability to relocate
