Job description

The Ramos Center is looking for an energetic candidate with great customer services skill to be the representative of our front desk.
Responsibilities
Process all patient check-ins. Will be responsible for confirming patient appointments, verifying insurance, and retrieving all proper demographic updates from the patient if necessary. Process all payment types such as co-payment, co-insurance, and balances by cash, credit, or check. Answer patient calls and messages related to patient concerns. Schedule and reschedule patient appointments.
Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system. Compile closing deposit for the Office manager to cash patient payments collected for the date of service. Count the bank at the beginning and end of the shift. Balance and drop receipts according to accounting specifications.
Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager. Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all patients according to company standards; anticipate and address patient needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank patients with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Move, lift, carry, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
