Job description

Position Summary:
NTN has an immediate opening in our Industrial Aftermarket Division for a Territory Manager covering the majority of Indiana. (Note: northwest and southern Indiana are not included in this territory)
This position calls for managing a defined territory which consists of NTN Authorized Distributors. The role would include working with distributor's sale force regarding the promotion of NTN Products as well as calling on end-users directly to promote brand name and empower them to change buying habits. This position will focus on the Industrial Aftermarket.
Major Responsibilities:
Drive engagement and maintain relationships with all NTN authorized distributors while successfully identifying and managing key end user customer relationships.
Grow distributor relationships by focusing on specific NTN programs that aid in the development of a highly effective branch sales plan.
Successfully utilize and implement a solution based sales approach that seeks to educate both our distributors and end user customers by providing insights into industry best practices that showcase NTN's commitment to value added selling and cost savings.
Consistently identify new opportunities that align with the NTN sales strategy and drive those opportunities successfully through the different sales funnel stages.
Effectively document and monitor each sales opportunity in Salesforce ensuring proper monitoring of both existing and new business.
Actively engage with the different teams whose interests are aligned with the successful growth of our Industrial Aftermarket distributor channel. Those groups would include: Applications Engineers, Field Engineers, Customer Relations Advocates and Corporate Accounts.
Ability to articulate NTN value propositions to key personnel responsible for keeping plants and operations running reliably and safely, while also having the ability to formally present to key purchasing personnel when required.
Effectively utilize the business intelligence tools provided by management to successfully analyze sales data in an effort to prioritize time management and sales activities.
Conduct daily sales calls with both key distributor personnel and end user personnel ensuring NTN has a constant market presence in the territory.
Understand the factors that drive repetitive business and accurately forecast order levels up to planning.

Skills/Requirements:
BSME is preferred. A bachelor's degree is required, however, in some instances, related field experiences will be considered.
Competent knowledge within the Power and Transmission industry is preferred, however, at a minimum a candidate must demonstrate general industrial knowledge.
Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience with customer sales interactions. And must possess industrial knowledge as it pertains to NTN's servicing industries: Food & Beverage, Paper & Pulp, Steel, Packaging, Agriculture, Construction, Electric Motor.
Must be highly driven and have demonstrated past achievements in sales, territory management, project management and strong sales reporting capabilities.
Ability to travel daily within the territory with 50% overnights
Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite products. With a focus on Microsoft Excel.
Highly motivated individual with a self-starter mentality and a strong desire to succeed while holding themselves accountable for achieving expected sales results.
Strong commitment to having a positive attitude and a willingness to being a team player at all times.
