What are some common challenges rally drivers face during competitions, and how can new drivers prepare for them?

Rally drivers often encounter unpredictable terrain, rapidly changing weather conditions, and the need to quickly adapt to unfamiliar courses. Navigating these challenges requires strong communication with the co-driver, excellent vehicle control, and the ability to make split-second decisions.
