Mammography Technologist Opportunity

Are you a skilled and compassionate Mammography Technologist looking for an opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-focused environment? Raleigh Radiology is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team. This role involves performing mammographic imaging while ensuring the highest quality of patient care.

*Work Hours: 7:30 am- 1:30 pm (every other Saturday)*

What You'll Do

  • Perform ordered mammography diagnostic imaging procedures safely, efficiently, and professionally.
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, prioritize care, and provide clear instructions before and after procedures.
  • Administer contrast and assist with IV sedation cases.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond quickly to any urgent or emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, patient histories, and procedure notes.
  • Ensure imaging equipment is well-maintained, clean, and ready for use.
  • Uphold safety and infection control protocols at all times.
  • Support physicians and fellow team members, fostering a positive and cooperative work environment.
  • Educate patients on procedures and aftercare, ensuring they feel informed and comfortable.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Certification:
    • ARRT certification in Mammography RT (R)(M)
    • CPR Certification (must be obtained within 6 months of employment and maintained continuously).
  • Experience: Previous experience in a fast-paced hospital or imaging center preferred.
  • Skills: Strong technical expertise in mammography, with excellent patient care and communication skills.
