Vehicle Handler - New Vehicle Loading
Location: Georgetown, KY
A-Shift Pay: $18.75 per hour
B-Shift Pay: $19.75 per hour
Job Type: Full-time | On-site

Road & Rail Services is hiring dependable Vehicle Handlers to help prepare and load new vehicles for rail transportation. In this position, you will inspect and drive new vehicles through the facility and onto railcars while following established safety and quality procedures.
This is an active, outdoor position that requires attention to detail, safe driving habits, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team. If you enjoy working around new vehicles, staying physically active, and completing work that directly supports the automotive transportation industry, we encourage you to apply.
What You Will Do
Safely drive new vehicles throughout the facility and onto railcars for transportation
Inspect vehicles before and after movement for visible damage or quality concerns
Maintain proper spacing and positioning while loading vehicles
Follow all customer, company, and facility driving procedures
Enter and exit vehicles repeatedly throughout the shift
Climb railcar ladders and work at heights of approximately 16 to 20 feet
Walk and stand for extended periods on paved and uneven surfaces
Lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds
Work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, snow, and changing weather conditions
Communicate safety, damage, and operational concerns to supervision
Work cooperatively with other vehicle handlers to meet daily production goals
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
Qualifications
Valid state-issued driver's license
Safe and responsible driving record
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to work assigned hours, including overtime, weekends, or holidays when required
Comfortable working outdoors and at elevated heights
Able to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift
Strong attendance, reliability, and attention to detail
Prior experience as a vehicle handler, yard driver, lot attendant, automotive porter, or vehicle loader is helpful but not required
Pay and Benefits
