Clinical Consulting Services (CCS) is seeking an experienced Regional RAI Specialist (RN) to support skilled nursing facilities throughout the Lancaster and Harrisburg markets. This role is essential in ensuring accurate MDS completion, regulatory compliance, and optimal reimbursement across multiple facilities.

This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented Registered Nurse with strong expertise in the RAI process, PDPM reimbursement, and skilled nursing regulations who enjoys mentoring facility teams and driving strong clinical and financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide RAI/MDS guidance and support to facility-based MDS Coordinators across the region.

  • Ensure accurate completion and timely submission of all MDS assessments.

  • Conduct routine audits to ensure compliance with state and federal reimbursement guidelines and clinical documentation standards.

  • Educate facility teams on regulatory updates, reimbursement changes, and MDS best practices.

  • Collaborate with administrators, Directors of Nursing, MDS coordinators, and interdisciplinary teams to improve clinical and financial outcomes.

  • Support facilities in optimizing Case Mix Index (CMI), PDPM reimbursement, and quality measures.

  • Assist with process improvements and training initiatives to strengthen clinical reimbursement performance across the region.

Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required

  • Minimum of 5 years of MDS/RAI experience in a skilled nursing facility

  • Strong knowledge of PDPM, Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, and SNF regulatory requirements

  • Experience training, mentoring, and educating MDS teams

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

  • Ability to travel between facilities within the Lancaster/Harrisburg region
