Job description

Salary: $18-$21 Hourly

We are seeking dedicated experienced individuals to join our team at Eden Recovery, a 6-bed drug and alcohol treatment center. Must have active RADT/RAC/SUDRC/EMT/CADC & CPR certificates. Both part-time & full-time overnight (NOC/graveyard) shifts available. As a Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing support and supervision to clients during their recovery journey. Here's an overview of the job responsibilities:


  • Foster positive relationships and maintain effective communication with team members, residents, and visitors.
  • Offer guidance, support, and positive role modeling to residents while monitoring behavior according to program guidelines.
  • Proficiency and comfortability with facilitating two groups per shift
  • Ability to accurately document groups in Kipu
  • Document all significant interactions in Kipu with each client.
  • Provide safe transportation for scheduled appointments and activities, intervening in crisis situations when necessary.
  • Assist with meal preparation, laundry, and bed changes upon discharge of residents, ensuring assigned chores are completed.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times.
  • Notify the supervisor within 24 hours if unable to show up for work; request time off two weeks in advance.
  • Ensure clients adhere to the day-to-day program and medication schedule.
  • Supervise clients in self-administration of medication, document appropriately, and complete medication inventories
  • Conduct routine facility checks to ensure safety and security, including client and property searches.
  • Conduct and document urine testing.
  • Attend all required staff training sessions and meetings.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, filing paperwork, and stocking supplies.
  • Take inventory of supplies needed and report to appropriate managers.
  • Clean the facility, including client's rooms, and ensure clients follow program and facility rules for safety.
  • Complete intake and discharge processes and other assigned duties.
  • General understanding of case management with substance abuse clients and willingness to learn from superiors

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
  • Active RADT/RAC/SUDRC/EMT/CADC
  • Active CPR Certificate
  • Consent to randomized drug testing
  • Upbeat and likeable personality with effective interpersonal skills
  • Must not be shy or reserved
  • Familiarity with relevant recovery literature and principles.
  • Knowledge of software programs for Windows PC and iPhone, particularly in Kipu, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and timekeeping phone apps.
  • Must be able to provide references from previous employers
