The Country Inn & Suites is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented full-time Room Inspector who is looking to be a part of our fun and dynamic work environment.

Compensation starts at $21.00/hour, with benefits and potential for growth. Room Inspectors are an essential part of our hotel team. In addition to inspecting cleaned guestrooms and public areas, Room Inspectors help ensure quality assurance, brand compliance, and an exceptional guest experience.

The Room Inspector will be responsible for inspecting and approving guest rooms daily in accordance with Country Inn & Suites brand standards.

  • Prior hotel housekeeping experience required; supervisory or inspector experience preferred.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.A. (E-Verify).
  • Bi-Lingual (English & Spanish) preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect cleaned guest rooms to ensure compliance with brand standards
  • Verify cleanliness, proper setup, and functionality of room amenities and equipment
  • Ensure bed presentation, bathroom sanitation, and overall room appearance meet company standards
  • Confirm amenities, promotional materials, and guest supplies are properly placed and stocked
  • Identify maintenance issues and report deficiencies to housekeeping and engineering management
  • Ensure guest room status updates are accurate in the property management system
  • Inspect public areas, hallways, elevators, service corridors, and linen closets for cleanliness
  • Monitor housekeeping carts and storage areas for organization and compliance
  • Assist with training Room Attendants on cleanliness standards and procedures
  • Ensure adherence to safety and sanitation policies
  • Supports Housekeeping Manager with training of new associates
  • Enforce lost and found policies and procedures
  • Support housekeeping team with room cleaning, public space cleaning, houseperson, and/or laundry during high occupancy periods as needed
  • Project professionalism, friendliness, and commitment to personalized guest service

Requirements:

  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and possess all necessary documents listed on I-9 and verified through E-Verify
  • Previous hotel housekeeping experience required; quality control or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify cleanliness deficiencies
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with department managers, team members, and guests
  • Strong leadership and team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to maintain high energy for extended periods

Physical Demands:
