Lead CT Technologist - $10,000 Sign-On Bonus!
McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center is your community medical provider, serving the Willamette Valley and its residents. Our 113-bed hospital offers inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic, medical, surgical and emergency care. We are a family of caregivers offering care to our larger family - our community.
Position Details:
  • Hourly Base Rate: $43.29 - $66.54
  • Shift: Days and Evenings; 10hr shifts. Shift varies based on needs of department
  • Shift Hours Per Week: 40 hours
  • SEIU Local 49 represented position
  • Call required
  • $10,000 Sign-On Bonus with an 18-month commitment

Job Summary:
  • Under the supervision of the Diagnostic Imaging Director, the CT Charge Technologist has the ability to perform all types of computer-assisted scanning procedures of highest quality.
  • Included in the operation of the CT scanner is the ability to properly position the patient, the knowledge of computer programs and varied techniques and/or protocols needed for each case, as well as proper administration and monitoring of IV contrast.
  • Works closely with the Director, other Technologists, interpreting and referring physicians, other department staff as well as patients and their families.
  • Oversees CT Quality Control programs, care and maintenance of equipment and aides in the direction and coordination of daily patient workflow.
  • Performs designated supervisory functions to include assisting with staff training and providing input in staff evaluations.
  • Works closely with the Diagnostic Imaging Director on Quality Improvement initiatives including ACR Accreditation.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of Accredited Radiology Technology program or equivalent.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist's RT and CT registration.
  • Current State of Oregon license.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • A minimum of three years experience in general computed tomography procedures and emergent/trauma procedures required, five years preferred. Two years experience at McKenzie Willamette Medical Center or a minimum of one year supervisory experience in a similar hospital setting required.
