The Marketing Coordinator supports the Marketing team across Disney Theatrical Group's Broadway productions and North American touring productions. This role assists with the coordination and execution of marketing campaigns, creative assets, and administrative tasks that ensure materials are delivered accurately, on time, and in alignment with brand standards. The Marketing Coordinator reports to the Director, Marketing with a dotted line to the Directors, Regional Engagements.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign, Creative & Asset Coordination

  • Assist in the coordination and execution of marketing campaigns across Broadway and touring productions.

  • Support tracking of timelines, deadlines, and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects.

  • Assist with the production, trafficking, and distribution of marketing assets across print, digital, tv, radio, social, outdoor, and in-theatre channels. Route the creative materials for approval to internal teams and external partners.

  • Localize email and SMS marketing templates and traffic for approval and deployment.

  • Maintain and distribute creative files to internal teams, agencies, vendors, and theatrical partners.

  • Assist in maintaining asset management systems and websites, and ensure proper organization and archiving of marketing materials.

Marketing Operations

  • Support marketing execution for both Broadway productions and North American touring markets.

  • Assist in logging key touring dates such as presales, on-sales, and campaign milestones on shared calendars.

  • Coordinate delivery, shipping, and tracking of tour marketing materials, promotional displays and merchandise.

  • Support communication with local presenters, venues, and external marketing partners.

  • Assist with Broadway promotional requests, including Playbill inserts and partner materials.

  • Support coordination of marketing activations, events, and special projects across productions.

  • Assist vendor coordination for production of printed and promotional materials.

Administrative & Financial Support

  • Process and track vendor invoices with accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Assist with expense reporting and basic budget tracking activities.

  • Coordinate meetings, schedules, and logistics, including booking rooms and preparing agendas.

  • Provide general administrative support including meeting notes, documentation, and departmental coordination.

Required Qualifications

  • Internship or entry-level experience in marketing, communications, or production.

  • Strong organizational skills with proven success managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Interest in marketing, advertising, digital media, and theatre.

  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  • Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to support team needs.

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, entertainment, theatre, or agency environments.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Theatre, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Basic familiarity with digital marketing, social media, or campaign coordination.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Asana, Airtable, or similar platforms.

The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $55,700 - $72,000 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
