English Comprehension
Each individual will be required to take and pass a short English comprehension test which follows CEFR A1 level guidelines in understanding. This test is in English and includes a five sentence statement, followed by five questions related to the statement. A passing score is 3 of 5 or more questions answered correctly. Answers can be written in primary language as the intent of the test is only to show a base understanding level is known. If unable to pass this test, we will not move forward with an interview, but strongly encourage each individual to work on improving their understanding and re-apply in the future.
As our business continues to evolve to meet higher standards in quality, safety, efficiency, and customer expectations, it has become increasingly important that all team members are able to show at minimum, a base comprehension in English. Everyday paperwork such as work orders, blueprints, inspection forms are all in English. Our job status system and other programs are also in English. It is vital that everyone can understand in full the expectations set by these items to meet business expectations.
We do our best as a team to lend assistance when translations might be needed but this is not always available. Phones are not permitted on the production floor for safety reasons, so base comprehension is necessary to remain effective in production efficiencies.
Location
This position will be primarily based out of or near our Mesa facilities located at 4712 South Ellsworth Road, Mesa, AZ 85212. Though pending business needs could slide to other AZ sites.
Shift Schedule (Current as of posting, but is subject to change pending business needs)
On-site; Full-Time; 2nd Shift; Monday-Thursday 03:30PM - 02:00AM; 10.00 hour shifts with potential for additional hours pending business needs.
Position Description
Production positions are inclusive of many departments such as Assembly, Brazing, Crating, Expanding, Hairpin, Header Fabrication, Testing, Press, and more. Some may require additional certifications, training, or prior work experience. All positions have physical requirements that must be met. Every department within production is important and plays its part in the overall success of the business.

• Perform assigned job tasks which meet or exceed company expectations.
o If further training is needed, must show clear evidence of improvement on specified duty.

o Unprofessional conduct such as horseplay while on property is not tolerated.
• Meet and maintain expectations set by quality team.
• Arrive prepared for your scheduled shift, including wearing appropriate safety items and always have access badge on person.
• Must be able to work in small group settings or individually as needed and maintain professional conduct while working with others.
o Personal disagreements can occur; we must do our part in maintaining a professional level of respect to the best of our ability.
• Some of the physical requirements are:
o Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, twist, grasp.
§ Many positions are standing or walking majority of shift.
o Ability to frequently lift, push, and/or pull up to 50lbs.

THIS IS AN INDUSTRIAL MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT WHICH REQUIRES PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES.
Required:
• High school diploma/equivalent or higher.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, extend, reach, push, pull, grasp, and twist for long periods of time throughout shift.
• Must be able to lift at least 50lbs without assistance frequently.
• Fundamental understanding of English language and able to show evidence can read at a base comprehension level.
Though we strive to bridge language gaps, most paperwork on production floor is in English.
Reading is crucial as someone is not always readily available to provide translations.
• Stable and reliable attendance
o A pattern of Late Ins, Early Outs, Unexcused Call Outs, etc. is not acceptable.
• Strong positive work ethic
o Have a good history of safe work practices, focus on quality, and steady efficiency.
o Personal errors in your specific department can happen, what is important is if you were able to learn from an error and move forward in a positive manner.
• Comfortable in a fast paced and adaptive/evolving environment.
• Must pass medical pre-screen with physical and background check.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred:
1+ YEAR(S) PRIOR EXPERIENCE OPERATING MANUFACTURING MACHINERY.
o Examples: Press, Expander (Mechanical or Hydro), Hairpin Bender, CNC, Panel control Saws, Pressure Testing, etc.
1+ YEAR(S) PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN BRAZING.
o Examples: Copper to Copper brazing; Single and/or Double Tip torch setups.
• 1-3 years prior experience working in manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with computers and computer programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.
• Experience working in company where gap-filling is routine.
