Radiologic Technologist

Springboro Health Clinic

General Summary/Responsibilities:

The Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech/RT) for Premier Occupational Health is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations, to produce images of tissue, organs, bones, and vessels. This RT is also responsible for daily patient care of every patient in the clinic, including registration, vitals, any applicable testing and assisting the provider with patient care.

Dimensions:

The Radiological Technologist may be assigned as the Individual Responsible for Radiation Protection (IRRP) at one or more PPN facilities. IRRP responsibilities will include maintaining radiographic equipment records with ODH, overseeing/maintaining radiology safety logs, review of radiation badges, and notifying appropriate leadership of any equipment failure, overexposure, or other quality and safety issues.

Qualifications

Education

Minimum Level of Education Required: Associate degree

Additional requirements: Type of degree: Associate degree

Licensure/Certification/Registration

Current Ohio Radiologic License from the Ohio Department of Health. Active ARRT certification required.

Experience

Minimum Level of Experience Required: No prior job-related work experience

Preferred experience: Experience in an ambulatory care environment preferred
