We seek SME Seismic (Guest Module) | Dam Operator Safety Training: Fundamentals, Inspection, Monitoring & Field Practicum [DOI0012011] candidates with relevant Government And Public Services Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Government And Public Services Sector Clients such as DOI. Dam Operator Safety Training: Fundamentals, Inspection, Monitoring & Field Practicum crafting tailored, high-quality course content that educates, engages, and empowers learners with precision and purpose.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - SME Seismic (Guest Module) | Dam Operator Safety Training: Fundamentals, Inspection, Monitoring & Field Practicum [DOI0012011]

• Advises on seismic safety of dams and related inspection protocols. Develops modules addressing seismic performance, hazard recognition, and post-event inspection practices. Ensures course material aligns with DOI seismic and structural safety standards.  Distills seismic risk for operators-what to watch, when to escalate, how to stay safe. Contribute modules on seismic loading effects on Dams; operational checks after events; coordinate with TPOC on regional seismic considerations; advise on emergency triggers within operator purview.

Desired Qualifications For SME Seismic (Guest Module) | Dam Operator Safety Training: Fundamentals, Inspection, Monitoring & Field Practicum [DOI0012011] (DOI0012011) Candidates:

15+ years seismic/structural dynamics of Dams; publications or major project experience preferred; prior training to non-technical audiences.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

• BS Engineering; MS/PhD in Structural/Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering preferred; PE/SE preferred.
• 15+ years seismic/structural dynamics of Dams; publications or major project experience preferred; prior training to non-technical audiences.
• This position aligns with functional and technical requirements in the Government And Public Services Sector and SME Seismic (Guest Module) Candidates principally support Dam Operator Safety Training: Fundamentals, Inspection, Monitoring & Field Practicum Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Disciplines.

Skills Required

• Primarily focused on Management and Financial Consulting, Acquisition and Grants Management Support, and Business Program and Project Management Services initiatives and aligned with Training activities Dam Operator Safety Training: Fundamentals, Inspection, Monitoring & Field Practicum Functional Area Activities. 
• Seismic hazard basics, post-event inspection protocols, instrumentation changes, communication procedures.

• Prepares pocket checklist for post-event walkdowns.
• Due to the sensitive nature of our work, the individuals who will be actively completing work on this contract or reviewing documents related to our operations must either be cleared (Secret Fcl / Top Secret Fcl) or be able to obtain and maintain a clearance.  All personnel must possess an active Secret clearance with eligibility for Interim TS/SCI or a full TS/SCI clearance in DISS at the time of proposal submission and maintain it throughout the contract. Compliance with FAR 52.204-2 and DoD security requirements (DD Form 254, DD Form 441, and DoD 5220.22-M) is mandatory. Employees denied a Top Secret clearance after receiving an Interim TS will be restricted from contract duties, but this does not relieve ProSidian from performance obligations.
