Job description

Overview

  • Department: Radiology

  • Schedule: Per Diem (As needed) Days

  • Facility: Resurrection Medical Center

  • Location: 7435 W Talcott Ave, Chicago, IL 60631

Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  1. ARRT-R and licensed as required by State;2. VI (Vascular Interventional Technologist preferred3. Licensure and Fluoroscopy permit as required by State.4. Previous experience in a Interventional Radiology department preferred.5. BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.6. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire.7. Proficient computer skills.

Resurrection Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is a flat rate of $43.67. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
