Interventional Radiology / Cath Lab Technologist - Travel/Contract

Location: Barrington


Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology / Cath Lab Technologist to join a high-performing interventional platform. This role requires strong experience in Cath Lab procedures, including the ability to scrub and record cases, with a particular focus on electrophysiology (EP) and ablation procedures.


Key Responsibilities
  • Scrub and assist physicians during interventional and Cath Lab procedures

  • Monitor and record procedural data accurately

  • Assist with EP procedures, including ablations

  • Maintain sterile field and ensure patient safety

  • Prepare and manage interventional equipment and supplies

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and procedural teams


Requirements (MUST HAVE)
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience

  • Licensure & Certifications:

    • Active Illinois RT License (Required)

    • ARRT (Required)

    • BLS (Required)

    • ACLS (Required)

  • Education: Associate's degree from an accredited School of Radiology

  • Skills:

    • Experience with ablation procedures

    • Ability to scrub and record cases independently

  • Designations: Magnet Hospital | Primary Stroke Center

  • Procedure Rooms: 4

  • Pre/Post recovery handled by a separate unit
