Job Description

This role works on a production line in the painting or finishing stage, preparing and inspecting parts for processing by placing or removing components on and from racking wire and large racks according to their size and shape. The position offers both first shift (6:00 a.m.โ€“2:30 p.m.) and second shift (1:00 p.m.โ€“9:30 p.m.) opportunities, with training provided and Spanish-speaking candidates welcome.

Responsibilities

  • Select appropriate racks based on the size, shape, and number of parts to be processed.
  • Inspect racks and parts to ensure they meet production and quality requirements.
  • Follow BT500 quality standards throughout the racking and finishing process.
  • Verify paperwork, confirm correct parts, and count parts accurately prior to racking.
  • Properly place parts on racks according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Remove parts from racks carefully to prevent damage and maintain product integrity.
  • Visually inspect parts to verify that finishes comply with quality standards.
  • Report damaged or missing parts to the appropriate personnel or supervisor.
  • Perform housekeeping activities to maintain a clean and organized racking area.
  • Adhere to and promote all company safety rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Work effectively as part of a production team to meet daily output and quality goals.
