1st Shift Shipping/ Receiving Associate
Primary Job Function:
Provide full service to production/shipping departments, by using established processes/TPM objectives. Accomplish any and all work assignments as directed by management.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
  • Supply proper amounts of product/racks to support production lines (using process standards)
  • Verify rack/product quantity
  • Create miscellaneous shippers
  • Maintain/verify R/F labor movement transactions
  • Adhere to scrap process
  • Adhere/maintain rack/stack carry heights
  • Adhere to warehouse layout
  • Adhere/maintain FIFO standards
  • Verify that product matches paperwor.
  • Inspect basket/rack condition (remove debris/tags)
  • Understand ERP functionality
  • Commitment/adherence to department cross training
  • Maneuver the Taylor-100 “Big Red” 100,000-Ton hilo
  • Operate switcher to maintain bullpen and move trailers as required
  • Rack and Die inventory management
  • Participate/maintain TPM/5S objectives in warehouse, pole barns, fork trucks, etc.
  • Maintain safety and housekeeping standard
  • Additional duties as assigned by Facilitator/Manager
Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and Fork Truck License or the ability to obtain one
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
  • Basic Computer skills
  • Knowledge of R/F Guns
  • 3+ years’ experience as a fork truck driver
Training Requirements or Equivalents:
  • New hire orientation
  • ERP System Training
Health, Safety and Physical Demand Requirements:
  • Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to tolerate standing for 8 hours or more
  • Occasional lifting, climbing, carrying, pulling, gripping, grasping, twisting, bending, stooping and reaching throughout the work day
  • Hand and eye coordination
  • Ability to work in manufacturing environment
