Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting Wage: $30.00 – $40.00/hr (based on experience)

What You’ll Do


As a Commercial Journeyman Plumber at RLP, you will be a critical part of our plumbing team. You’ll work on large-scale commercial projects from rough-in to final installation and ensure our work is completed with precision, efficiency, and safety.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Install commercial and industrial plumbing systems on construction projects
  • Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and specifications
  • Inspect work, troubleshoot issues, and identify improvements
  • Ensure plumbing installations meet code, quality, and efficiency standards
  • Follow all company and jobsite safety protocols
  • Coordinate effectively with the onsite foreman to keep schedules on track

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid Texas Journeyman Plumbing License (required)
  • 4–6+ years of commercial plumbing experience, on new construction projects
  • MedGas certification/endorsement is preferred
  • Strong understanding of commercial systems, tools, and installation techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently, solve problems on the job, and maintain high-quality      workmanship
  • Professional communication and teamwork skills
  • Leadership experience or interest in mentoring apprentices is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug and background checks
