Job description

Description:

This is a hands-on role for someone who already knows their way around Restaurant365 and understands how multi-unit franchise accounting works. You'll keep our books clean, accurate, and current across multiple stores and brands.


What You'll Do

  • Maintain accurate daily and monthly books across multiple franchise locations in Restaurant365 (R365).
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations across store accounts.
  • Verify daily deposits and reconcile card processing settlements against sales.
  • Manage sales tax tracking and support timely filings.
  • Record and categorize transactions, journal entries, and accruals.
  • Reconcile delivery platform and third-party settlements (Uber Eats, DoorDash, Grubhub, ezCater).
  • Support month-end close and produce reports for ownership review.
  • Flag discrepancies, missing settlements, or data quality issues proactively.
  • Coordinate with operations and ownership on financial questions as needed.
Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience with Restaurant365 (R365) is required.
  • Familiarity with multi-unit franchise or restaurant accounting is required.
  • Solid understanding of bookkeeping fundamentals: reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and the general ledger.
  • Comfortable working with POS and payroll data (Toast, Paylocity, Homebase a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers.
  • Able to work independently and meet close deadlines in a hybrid setting.
  • Based in or near South Florida.


Preferred


  • Prior experience in a franchise holding company or multi-brand environment.
  • Sales tax filing experience in Florida.
  • Experience reconciling delivery platform settlements.
