American Consultants is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Anchorage, Alaska.

Job Opportunity – CT Technologist – Anchorage, AK 99508

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: Anchorage, Alaska – Outpatient Imaging Center

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM), Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays. No Sundays or holidays. 13-week assignment with 72 guaranteed hours per two-week period.

Highlights:
  • Work in a state-of-the-art outpatient imaging center within a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma facility
  • Primarily mobile patient population with focus on cancer follow-up imaging and diagnostic procedures
  • Comprehensive CT and X-ray responsibilities including IV starts, contrast administration, I-stat labs, and post-processing
  • Epic charting system with free parking provided
  • Flexibility to float between CT and X-ray to expand clinical skills
  • First-time travelers welcome with at least one year of experience
Requirements:
  • Current BLS certification
  • ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required
  • Fluoroscopy permit preferred
  • Minimum one year of CT technologist experience
  • X-ray experience required in extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head/chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal imaging
  • Proficiency in IV starts, venipuncture, and contrast media preparation/administration
  • Experience with vascular CTA, brain perfusion, and various contrast protocols preferred
  • Willingness to work with diverse patient populations including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
  • Valid state license or compact license required at time of submission
