Job description

POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER - Physiology Department (Mountoufaris Lab): To study the molecular and circuit-level mechanisms that regulate persistent affective states in both the healthy and diseased brain.

Candidates should have extensive experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Slice electrophysiology: Including data analysis methods using MATLAB and/or Python

- In vivo imaging: Calcium and/or neurotransmitter imaging techniques, including data analysis

- Quantative behavioral analysis: Experience with rodent behavioral and automated tracking platforms (e.g., SimBA, DeepLabCut, etc.)

-Molecular neurobiology: Proteomics and/or transcriptions, and related bioinformatics and statistical analysis (R studio, Python, etc.)

Must provide:

- CV

- Brief statement of research experience

- Names and contact information of 2-3 references
