Summary:

The Lighting Quotations Specialist plays a crucial role at supporting our purpose to create lasting value for those we serve by supporting the Lighting Team and Lighting customers. The position is responsible for providing pricing from our various vendors for the lighting department’s new quotes, existing projects, and opportunities from the outside sales team. The successful candidate will work closely with their team and their customers by creating a lighting Bill of Material from a blueprint or working with a customer to suggest lighting products on design-build projects. The Lighting Quotations Specialist is seen as a champion for the company culture, our 5 P’s and our purpose to create lasting value for those we serve.


Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

  • Prepare a take-off for the lighting bill of material from blueprints/specifications
  • Assist customers with lighting product selection and application
  • Negotiate pricing with lighting manufacturers and customers
  • Prepare submittals for approval and O&M manuals using Adobe
  • Provide lead-times for quotations and assist with customer service when needed
  • Build and maintain customer relationships

Job Requirements/Specifications:

  • College degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years experience preferred
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Adobe skills are essential
  • Knowledge of Eclipse preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills via phone, email and in person are required
  • Knowledge and experience with lighting products and distribution is preferred
