Job description

JOB SUMMARY: The Quotes Coordinator supports the Quotes department in processing customer requests for quotation (RFQs) efficiently and accurately. This role requires strong analytical thinking, administrative precision, and professional communication with internal departments and external clients.

This position requires the use of information that is subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and /or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • RFQ Coordination: Monitor customer RFQs, review incoming quote packages for completeness, and follow up internally and externally to secure missing documentation.
  • Document Management: Maintain, organize, and file technical documentation packages, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), assembly drawings, and specifications.
  • Data Manipulation & Entry: Convert customer BOMs into standardized Excel formats. Input completed labor and cost analysis data into the ERP system to generate final quotes.
  • Internal & External Communication: Act as a primary point of contact for customer quote inquiries while facilitating smooth information flow between sales, engineering, and operations.
  • Reporting: Generate, update, and maintain regular status reports and quote files.
