About the Role

We are seeking a Zuora Product Owner within the Revenue and Deal Operations organization to drive the strategy, design, and optimization of subscription billing and quote-to-cash capabilities. This role sits within Revenue & Deal Operations (RDO) and serves as a key cross-functional partner across Salesforce, Kantata, Revenue Operations, Finance, and technology teams to deliver scalable, customer-centric solutions that support a global sales organization and a rapidly growing subscription business.

Role Overview

This role is critical to supporting a multi-billion-dollar revenue organization undergoing rapid growth and transformation. You will lead the product lifecycle for Zuora and its integration with Salesforce, enabling seamless execution of the quote-to-cash process while ensuring billing, customer, and revenue data requirements are supported across connected systems. The role will collaborate closely with teams responsible for ERP, e-billing/e-reporting, and reconciliation capabilities to ensure Zuora processes, integrations, and data flows align with broader operational, compliance, and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the Zuora product roadmap, including billing, subscriptions, invoicing, and revenue integrations
  • Lead end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation through delivery and ongoing optimization
  • Partner with Sales, Revenue Operations, Finance, IT, Sales Ops, and adjacent Product Owners to define product strategy, requirements, priorities, and aligned business outcomes
  • Coordinate shared dependencies across e-billing, reconciliation, Salesforce, Kantata, ERP/Fusion, and other connected quote-to-cash systems
  • Drive integration between Salesforce (Sales & Service Cloud) and Zuora to optimize quote-to-cash processes
  • Gather, define, and prioritize business requirements aligned with revenue operations objectives
  • Translate business, operational, compliance, and system needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery priorities
  • Collaborate with SCRUM teams to deliver high-quality product increments and MVPs
  • Analyze usage data, billing metrics, and user behaviors to inform product improvements
  • Support organizational change management including training, communication, and adoption strategies
  • Ensure scalability and accuracy across subscription lifecycle including billing, invoicing, and revenue recognition
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and cross-functional alignment to ensure successful product delivery across highly connected quote-to-cash systems

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 3–6 years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or Business Systems roles
  • Hands-on experience with Zuora Billing and/or Zuora Revenue strongly preferred
    Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM platform
  • Strong understanding of quote-to-cash and subscription business models
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives in Agile/SCRUM environments
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Experience with analytics tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 86,000 USD - 118,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
