Job description

Position Summary: Manages the quotes queue to ensure the timely distribution of quotations requests and organizes the files to include labeling to ensure consistency and organization. All project quotations to be finalized at least 24 hours prior to bidding.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage the quotations team deadlines, ensuring that all are met with accuracy
  • Vigilantly monitors emails to ensure that requests are responded to as quickly as possible
  • Communicates to customers if there are deficiencies in information or documentation provided; follows up with customers until sufficient information has been received to prepare quotations
  • Prepare project folders
  • Update bid board
  • Data entry to include initial customer and quote information into PRIME
  • Identifies new jobs and existing jobs – pulls folders for rebids
  • Answer telephone inquiries from customers, manufacturers, and sales people in a pleasant manner
  • Prepare and compile all reports that pertain to quotes (bid board, upcoming bids, re-bids, photometrics) for weekly sales meetings
  • Other duties as assigned by manager
